Cardiology is the medical specialty dedicated to diagnosing, treating, and preventing disease of the heart and blood vessels. At Boriken Neighborhood Health Center, we provide comprehensive health assessments that evaluate, treat, and reduce your risk of heart disease and stroke.
We offer consultative and diagnostic services that identify the causes of heart-related chest pain, shortness of breath, palpitations, fainting, and leg swelling. Our cardiologist treats heart conditions, such as coronary artery disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, and diseases of blood vessels, including stroke and peripheral vascular disease. We also provide preventive and risk management services that assess your risk of heart disease and control conditions that increase heart disease risks such as diabetes and high blood pressure.
This health center receives HHS funding and has Federal PHS deemed status with respect to certain health or health-related claims, including medical malpractice claims, for itself and its covered individuals.
