On Friday, November 18th, Boriken hosted a Thanksgiving Turkey Giveaway at Kultiv8 Studios! With over 100 turkeys available at the giveaway, Boriken was able to hand out turkeys, & much more to the community within East Harlem Council for Human Services, Inc. It was great to know that we were assisting families from the neighborhood during the beginning of this year’s holiday season!
None of this would be possible without the help many organizations. We would like to say thank you to Kultiv8 Studios for allowing us to use their space. Thank you to St. Francis Food Pantry, Foodtown, Pioneer, City Fresh, & Shop Fair for the donations of turkeys. Thank you to MetroPlusHealth for the donation of bags with perishables & non-perishables to give with the turkeys.
